- Each time you level your ark, the amount of souls it uses increase, and there isn't any way to lower its level.
- Once you reach 100% Ether Gauge on an ark, it gives a special reward item called an AER.
- Leveling arks early means you are increasing the amount of Blue/Red Souls that it will take to grind your ark to 100% Ether
- This can result in costing you thousands of additional souls to obtain it's AER.
- Therefore, its recommended that you consider the ark ether reward first before leveling it indiscriminately.

A few things to note:
Arks
- Arks are used to teach powerful skills to your heroes which they don't already have in their skill tree.
- Think of Arks not as permanent equips for Heroes, but instead as skill repositories for heroes.
- Arks should not be leveled any higher than necessary when you start the game!
- A good rule of thumb is to never level any SSR ark above 4, if you are unsure.
